For those with a foreign medical license trying to find their foot in the country, the Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance program is something to invest their time and energy in. The medical graduates are well endowed with the knowledge, attitude and practice with respect to adverse drug reaction and its surveillance. After getting trained with MediPharm Solutions they will further be prepared to monitor and report the harmful effects of drugs – both pre and post marketed.
A lot of research regarding safety physicians and patients is being conducted to evaluate their awareness and understanding of emerging drug safety information related to drugs. One research shows a gap in understanding the risks and urges us to explore ways of providing user-friendly resources to patients and healthcare professionals that can update them on the new risks in a timely manner. This is just one example of the necessity of a well trained medical personnel to handle the roles and responsibilities in the Safety and Pharmacovigilance department.
